A couple years ago I hiked up Tent Ridge with my g A couple years ago I hiked up Tent Ridge with my gal pal @meganlentz. It was the first real “big” hike I have ever done and something that day clicked in my brain. I realized the feeling I had from climbing that mountain was something I never wanted to lose. I get asked a lot “why do you hike so much?” And the answer is simple. It’s for the feeling of adrenaline, the excitement and the challenge of the climb. For the feelings of accomplishment at the top. And most of all for the feeling of being connected with nature. I’ll forever be chasing these feelings and climbing every mountain I can! Watch out tent ridge, I’m coming back for ya again this year! 🏔🏔🏔

Took a trip east this time to Dinosaur Provincial Took a trip east this time to Dinosaur Provincial Park! I usually spend so much time heading west to the mountains but it feels good to change things up and get a different view! 🦖🦕
It took me a long time to be happy with what I loo It took me a long time to be happy with what I looked like in photos. I never liked my facial expressions, what my body looked like, my hair or literally any other part of me. Growing as a photographer over the years I’ve had the opportunity to capture many smiling faces and unforgettable moments. It’s always been difficult to put myself on the other side of the lens, but I’ve learned to look past what I consider flaws in myself and be happy I have these captured memories. This change in mindset about what I look like in photos has changed my whole perspective on myself. I find that I love myself more, I smile bigger and I enjoy those unforgettable moments without worrying about what I look like. Life’s too short to always be worried about your appearance. Drink the beer, eat the pizza, and enjoy life! 🖤
